10 UNCOMMONLY USED FILIPINO WORDS

We know that some outlander are struggling to learn Tagalog . But the truth is , also We Filipinos honestly admitted that sometimes its hard to understand tagalog especially when it is unfamiliar to us, no matter how good we are in speaking native tagalog, but we have so much to learn more what we already know about Filipino words.

EXAMPLES:

  1. ANLUWAGI – a worker who builds or repairs wooden structures or their structural parts

– Ang anluwagi ay nagsisikap para sa kanyang pamilya.

2. BATLAG – a vehicle designed to move on rails

-Bagong bili ang batlag Keshiue.

3. SALIPAWPAW- a powered heavier-than-air aircraft with fixed wings from which it derives most of its lift

-Natatakot akong sumakay sa salipawpaw.

4.BADHI- it is the lines in the palm’s of one hand.

-Nalaman ko ang kahulugan ng badhi sa aking kamay dahil ipinahula ko ito.

5.PAYNETA- a toothed instrument used especially for adjusting, cleaning, or confining hair

-Ninakaw ang kulay itim na payneta ni Rachel.

6.SIPNAYAN-the science of numbers and op-eartions

-Mahirap ang asignaturang sipnayan, pero mas mahirap ang taong walang pangarap.

7. PAMINGGALAN- a place (such as a room) with cooking facilities

-Gusto ng aking ina na magkaroon ng malaking paminggalan.

8.KABTOL – to make a shift or exchange

-Nag-kabtol sila ng kanilang damit.

9.TALASARILI-a daily record of personal activities, reflections, or feelings

-Si Mishue ay nag sulat ng kanyang talasarili tungkol sa pag-ibig niya kay Mercky.

2. MAGSIMPAN – a licensed health-care professional who practices independently or is supervised by a physician, surgeon, or dentist and who is skilled in promoting and maintaining health

-Pangarap ko ang maging isang responsableng magsimpan balang araw.
